Rear Sway Bar End Link Bushings
The E46 generation of the BMW 3-Series (1999-2006) is considered by some to be the pinnacle of the 3-Series cars. It was still relatively small and was the last generation to offer naturally-aspirated engines only. Regardless of the engine choice, these are fun, great-handling, and reliable cars when well cared for.
Having been on the road nearly 20 years now, many of their parts are well past their prime, and that's especially true of most suspension bushings. Worn rear sway end link bushings are an often-overlooked source of hard-to-locate rear-end clunking sounds, let alone poor handling due to sway bars that aren't able to work properly.
Sway Bar-to-Bracket Bushings
These bushings connect the rear sway bar end link to the bracket on the vehicle and include a stainless steel sleeve for proper motion and reinforcement.
Sway Bar End Link-to-Bar Bushings
These bushings connect the sway bar to the end link itself and are engineered to allow optimal weight transfer and limited movement for ideal handling.

The Powerflex Difference
The bushings in your rear sway bar end links might look small enough that you wonder if they're really that important, but they absolutely are. BMWs are considered "The Ultimate Driving Machine" for a reason, and the sway bars are an integral part of the entire package that makes your BMW handle so well.
When these bushings wear out, they don't allow your sway bar to do its job of controlling body roll. Not only that, but when there is any weight transfer, there will typically be clunking noises coming from the rear of the bar because of the movement within the failed bushings. Even worse, this can create unpredictable handling during hard cornering or emergency maneuvers.
Powerflex bushings are the ideal solution, as they'll tighten up the handling of your BMW E46 3-Series, and they come with a Lifetime Warranty, so you'll never have to worry about replacing them again. And you don't need to wait for failed stock bushings to enjoy the benefits of Powerflex: they're a direct-fit replacement even for new bushings and still offer numerous performance and safety benefits.
Because Quality Matters
Powerflex bushings are engineered for each individual application. Our premium bushings improve performance, increase tire life, and enhance safety. Plus, every Powerflex part comes with a Lifetime Warranty, so you never have to worry about replacement parts again.
